Hello everyone my name is Kalpesh and I would like to welcome you to my site Hardgainers. I am a certified personal trainer and have been working hard to find solutions to the problems many people find in building lean muscle mass.
Health and well-being has been a passion of mine for over fifteen years. I began my journey into fitness by going to the gym doing cardiovascular and resistance exercises both free weights and machines but made little progress being a hard gainer.
A hard gainer is a person who practices bodybuilding but finds it a challenge to develop muscle regardless of the amount of effort put in. I can totally relate to this and have had problems in my quest to gain muscle, all the information provided by the fitness industry is focused on losing weight and burning fat and this made it even more difficult for me.
I asked a lot of advanced lifters and they would simply tell me to train hard and eat big. Not been given the right information on how to train or what to eat and also how much. My strength gains were non-existent and my muscle development reflected this.
After doing a lot of research on diet, supplement and exercise I found what worked but it took time and work, as the saying goes “Rome wasn’t built in a day”. It is also hard for those with a few years of training experience to see any new developments in muscle and make progression. It never discouraged me even though the odds were against me being a naturally skinny ectomorph.
My first ever Personal training session
Check out my video below! It was during April 2020, I had my first client who wanted to workout. I am very fortunate in that I have access to weights and equipment at home so can train clients.
They were very happy with the service I had provided them and continue to regularly have personal training sessions. This client is not a hard gainer I would class her as an endomorph. I want to share this video with you as it was my very first session. It built up my confidence in working as a personal trainer.
Her goal was to build muscle and lose fat, through her dedication and commitment to the exercise program she was successful in reaching her desired physique. She kindly accepted to be filmed for the purpose of my website and I cannot thank her enough. It is a long video so I can understand if you decide to not watch it all. I wanted to introduce myself and my commitment to helping others.

I want to give back so have created Hardgainers for all of you who put in the time and effort and cannot see any muscle gains, due to your body type and not knowing the correct way to train, eat and apply yourself. I know how it is as I was not blessed with the right genetics.
